Hello my friends,
Just a quick thought that I've recently experienced frequently:
the best ideas come when you don't sit in front of the computer screen. Either when it comes to concepts for clients (logos, websites, graphic layout) or for my personal photos / video work (stories), making several very quick sketches is a great way to generate more ideas and test them.
I store a lot of inspiring images on my computer, like thousands of them. Sometimes, when I browse this beautiful collection, I'm inspired by some ideas but it doesn't go very far since I won't copy these images anyway. When I need to develop of a full concept, nothing is better than working from scratch. Having seen a lot of interesting images in the past just provides a kind of "raw material" to your brain from which you'll unconsciously create new things. Inspiration is more interesting when it's not a conscious approach.
I've just forced myself to leave my desk, go to another room with a sheet of paper and pencil, remove everything distracting from the table and start sketching ideas. It wasn't long before I finally came up with something interesting after days of research

So, this is just my advice. I don't know if you share this opinion or not. I thought it would be interesting to share it with you, my artists friends and creative people.
New personal projects to come but... no more information for the moment

Cheers
